Intern Opportunities

Internship opportunities at Shepherd are for ages 16 and up. They are a 12 month commitment where a majority of time is spent in equine wellness and care. There are intern opportunities for those interested in counseling.  The remainder of the time will be spent specialized in either Biblically Based Equine Assisted programming, Facility Maintenance or utilizing and growing another area of interest. Certification in Biblically-Based Equine Assisted Programs is attained by completing the required online courses and the 12 month internship.
